Gyldensteen Castle
In the immediate vicinity of Flyvesandet find the old manor Gyldensteen Castle, which today is mostly known for an extensive production of onions. The manor has been a dominant part of the development of Nordfyn forward for rural reform in 1919, and is definitely worth a visit.
The manor has been in the family Gyldensteen's possession since 1720 - and emerges as a modern production farm both løgindustri, agriculture, forestry and hunting creature, by no fewer than 1873 hectares of north Funen country.
